  1. Dear both, can't believe it's already time to say adieu and travel safe! It will be an amazing trip - enjoy every moment,(good and bad). Don't forget that we mingers back home want to share not just the sunsets, but also the storms! Look out for and 'risk' some life changing experiences; savour the kindness, wisdom and gaiety of passing strangers (these may become future firm friends). Sample local culinary offerings and magnanimously participate in culture, tradition and 'harmless' ritual wherever you find it - then you will make friends with your soul and discern the movements of your spirit...
Be good to one another always!
    Missing you already!
    Fondest love and G O D S P E E D ! ! !

  5. Hi Anne and Tony (Easy riders)!!
By now you would have started the epic journey to distant lands (and roads) so keep us posted on the good, bad and ugly parts. Have you grown to love the GS yet? I'm sure its just a pussy cat in your capable hands. Also, where have you stored the micro light paddlock and chain? Big Grins here dude. Anyway, Bev and I wish you all the best and wish we were with you too. Remember - you can overtake anyway so take it easy - no white lines eh?
Cheers and see ya. Rob and Bev

  6. I’d just like to say what a fantastic thing these blogs are.... helping us all to keep in touch with old friends. So how are you "Pete"? So nice to hear from you and please say Hi to your gorgeous wife :-)

    Best wishes
    .......
I’m sure there was something else I came on here for?? Mmm. Oh yes, I must say Hi to the “Easy Riders” LOL ... Well it sounds like the first leg of your epic journey has gone without a hitch. I’m also glad to hear you’re participating in the “festive” culture of the places you pass through, an experience I’m sure they will soon get over! I would appreciate a bit more warning of future destinations as I would like to warn them of your coming? “We wouldn’t want to upset our European partners now would we? - Well.. my next contact will be by email as I can’t “talk dirty” on here :-)

Must go as racing is about to start..... But always remember this ... take care my friends.

    Yours

  8. Hi, Titch & Ann,

Well I was going to send you an email so that we could indulge in a little “dirty talk” but I have decided to refrain from the temptation for a while! - Ann, I would just like to say “you look absolutely fantastic in leather” although not as nice as the black number you used to wear for me...Remember? :-))

Well thanks’ for the pictures they give a great insight as to what you’re having to put yourselves through.(It looks fantastic) I particularly like the one of you both standing in Palencia Square, although I would have thought Anthony could have removed the apple from his mouth, but then he was always a bit of a “pig”
I note that you’re only spending one night in each location; presumably this is because you are seeking out warmer climates. So perhaps now isn’t a good time to mention (but I will) we in the UK are experiencing an unseasonal warm spell, as I write Avril is sitting outside enjoying a Leg-over (cocktail) in temperatures verging on 19 degrees? – I hope it won’t be to long before you can dispense with the ice clearing, and enjoy what we are enjoying back here!! Well' we are just going to sit down for Sunday dinner ....Al-fresco style of course so ...

    Remember.... take care my friends

    Yours

  11. Hi Anto and Ann,
Just back from second trip to Dublin with a week at the NEC thrown in, so first time I've managed to get online for a few weeks.
Just loved reading and catching up on your travels. What I wouldn't give to be doing the same! Amazing. You're obviously having great fun and adventure. Isn't it fantastic to be able to do it all at your own leisurely pace - not having to meet times and deadlines, and taking in all you want to see.
I had no idea you were so 'multi-lingual' I hope you're teaching our Euro Partners a few ripe English expressions also.
I don't know if this will go on your blog? I can't believe I can only see 10 comments since your departure? Presumably Facebook, Twitter blah blah are all in use too? Are you picking up e mails too? The kids must be sending you blogs - or are they just not talking to you?
Ann, I hope your long frock and tiara didn't get too creased for your spoiling on Valentine's night. Keep the news and the photos coming. Stay safe and well, get loadsa sunshine (eventually...like we are here), and fill us all in on the culture, the people and the adventures. Bestest Love and Hugs to you both, and to the clan back home.
